Welcome to Cologne! The city that is almost as grey, rainy and windy as Gothenburg in Sweden, where I’m from. Anthony here is from the USA and has a much bigger change than me, moving from heat to, well, not so hot. And let me just stop you right there, he moved here. Yep, moved here to be able to live with the love of his life and if that isn’t one of the biggest love gestures there is, I don’t know what is!

I met them for a photo shoot in the center of Cologne and from the first minute, they felt like friends I’ve known for a long time. We had a great time walking around in the city, looking at beautiful places, stopped where we felt like taking pictures and had coffee. I want my photoshoots to feel like that like we are friends hanging out and then you just happen to get a bunch of photos as a bonus.

So Anthony are from the USA and they met when Eva was au-pair there. And when she was finished with her stay abroad she moved back to Germany again. Going from seeing each other almost every day, to have a distant relationship for a long time, that is not an easy job. To all of you who has a distance relationship. I hear ya! I feel ya! And I admire you deeply! So to all of you, keep fighting. It’s worth it if you believe it is. Don’t let anybody else tell you if it is worth it or not. Anthony and his beautiful girl made it and love win again. And you guys will always have a place in my heart <3
